How does this work?

You choose your Picnic (Traditional, Mountaineer, or Custom) by filling out the enquiry form. Choose your date, delivery time and delivery location. We will confirm your reservation within 48 hours based on availability.

How much notice do you need to create my Picnic?

For The Traditional Picnic and The Mountaineer Picnic, we require your order to be placed at least 48 hours in advance. We do get fully booked, especially on weekends! Please note that if we are already fully booked for the date you request, we may be unable to deliver your Picnic, even if you have placed your order 48 hours in advance. You will receive confirmation of your event booking by email and a link for payment once your Picnic reservation is confirmed.

For The Custom Picnic, please allow a minimum of one weeks’ notice so that we can prepare for your special event and make it perfect!

How do I pay for my Picnic?

Once your Picnic date and time are confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email with a PayPal link to make your payment.

Can you cater to special dietary requirement?

It is our pleasure to make sure everyone can enjoy the Picnic….please let us know of your special dietary requirements and we will do our very best to accommodate them. Additional charges may apply based on alternate menu choices.

How do you ensure cleanliness / proper hygiene?

At Asheville Picnic Company, we take hygiene and cleanliness very seriously. Most of our foods are pre-packaged by our vendors and placed into your basket or lunch bag. All fresh food (like our sandwiches) are prepared in a commercial kitchen, and carefully prepared and wrapped. For The Custom Picnic, all food items will come directly from a commercial kitchen….prepared and wrapped and never touched by our hands. All members of our team practice high levels of personal hygiene and hand washing, and wear gloves during the handling of your food delivery.

How long are gift vouchers valid for?

Picnic Gift Vouchers are good for 2 years from the date of purchase. Gift vouchers are not redeemable for cash.


REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY
The Traditional Picnic or The Mountaineer Picnic:

Outside of 48 hours from your Picnic
A 100% refund will be offered for cancellation for personal reason or in the event inclement weather is forecasted. Alternatively, we can reschedule of relocate your Picnic.

Within 48 hours of your Picnic:
If you wish to cancel without rescheduling or relocating your Picnic, a refund less food charges will be provided.

Day of Picnic:
If you cancel day of Picnic, no refund can be provided.

The Custom Picnic:

On acceptance of your Custom Picnic Quote, a 20% non refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. Full payment is required 5 days prior to your Picnic date. For cancellations:
20% of total cost if cancelled 5 days prior to Picnic date
50% of total cost if cancelled 4 days prior to Picnic date
100% of total cost if cancelled 48 hours prior Picnic date
